
Mirraco BMX Bikes: Fall hazard. Mirraco has received four reports of steer tube rotation and one report of a fork separation due to failure of the welds. No injuries have been reported. Recalled models include Blend models 1, 1s, 2, 3, and 16; Black Pearl models 1, 2, and 3; Fivestar Punk; Icon Moto; and Icon 20Forty (who comes up with these?). Contact: Mirraco, (888) 431-7653. Upon dealer inspection they will replace the fork for free.
Sportcraft Bounce Houses: Impact injury. The fan and the plastic housing surrounding the fan can break apart during use of the inflatable bounce house, posing a risk of impact injury to consumers. Sportcraft has received three reports of the fan unit breaking apart during use of its Castle Kingdom, Bounce 'N' Play House, and Jump 'N' Kingdom. All models have been recalled. Jakks Pacific Fly Wheels XPV vehicles: Fire hazard. JAKKS Pacific has received 33 reports of the batteries melting or catching fire while charging, including three reports of minor burns to fingers and 23 reports of property damage to flooring, seats or walls. The battery packs were sold with a charger (item number 73904) and with the radio-controlled XPV toy (item number 73906). Item numbers are printed on the product's packaging above the barcode label. The batteries are marked "Fly Wheelz," "XPV," and "JAKKS Pacific," "Lithium-ion Polymer battery (LiPo)" followed by a list of warnings and precautions. Contact: Jakks Pacific, (877) 875-2557.
Fisher-Price "Laugh and Learn" Bunny: Choking hazard. The pink pompom nose can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. No incidents reported. Contact: Fisher-Price, (866) 447-5003.
Jazwares Link-N-Lite Magnetic Puzzles: Magnets pose aspiration and intestinal hazard. Small magnets used to connect the puzzle pieces can fall out. Magnets found by young children can be swallowed or aspirated. If more than one magnet is swallowed, the magnets can attract each other and cause intestinal perforation or blockage, which can be fatal.The firm has received reports of nine incidents where magnets became loose from these puzzles.
