About the Company
Lansinoh was founded in 1984 to market and distribute pure lanolin as a topical nipple ointment, which was then available only in multiple-ingredient products which had to be removed prior to breastfeeding. Since that time the company has expanded to produce breastmilk storage bags as well as manual and electric breast pumps. The company recently announced through Z Recommends that it would be discontinuing its polycarbonate breast flanges and replacing them with polypropylene ones, thus becoming a fully BPA-free company.
